Dear Mr. K***,

Warmest Greetings from Vietnamtour.co.za – a member of SENI TOURS. We are a local operator for Indochina tour with head office in Vietnam and we have representative in Cape Town – South Africa.

Thank you for your interest in our services.

My name is Mark. I’m very happy to handle your request.

I would like to send you the detailed itinerary and quotation for the 14-day trip.

During the trip you will visit most famous sightseeing from Northern to Southern of Vietnam such as:

  • Hanoi Capital: One of the largest cities in the country. It features an interesting mixture of Eastern and Western culture. It is interesting to discover 36 old streets which has its own history.
  • Halong Bay: The World’s Heritage, is one of the most interesting sightseeing in Northern.
  • Hue: this beautiful city once was the capital of Vietnam under Nguyen Dynasty. This city is home to many remnants from the feudal eras.
  • Hoian – the ancient town which once was the cultural hub of the region. The quaint town has many old buildings and structures which features the fusion of Orient and Western architecture.
  • Mekong Delta: The ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam, the delta is carpeted in a dizzying variety of greens. Where you will have a good chance to witness the real authentic local life of Vietnamese.

The trip is a great combination of nature, culture and history, that will make an unforgettable journey.

I have made the quotation for both 3-star and 4-star option for you to choose the one that best fit your budget. Please kindly advise the one that you prefer.

Regarding the room arrangement, as your group has 11 people, I propose 3 triple room and 1 double room, I have quoted the price for both double share triple share for you.

If you need further information or want to make changes to the tour, don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.

Many thanks and best regards,

Hi K***,

Thank you for getting back to me

I would like to send you the revised program and quotation. Please kindly find it in the attachment.

In the quotation, I have separated the price for the group of 6 pax and the group of 5 pax.

For the group of 5 pax, I would like to suggest the following visits to:

  • Duong Lam Village: a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta which still preserves many hundred-year-old houses. Walk through the narrow alleys to see the old laterite houses which make up this charming village and enjoy a local meal in a 100-year old house
  • Tam Coc: this place is considered as Halong Bay on Land. You can enjoy relaxing moment while rowing sampan along the stream while contemplating the spectacular of the scenery.

For the common itinerary for the whole 11 pax, I have made the changes as per your suggestions. All the places that you want to visit have been included in the program.

On Day 3, I want to let you know that for the cruise on Halong Bay, you would stay on the boat. And you would depart for Hue on the next day.

If you need further information or want to make changes to the tour, don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.

I’m looking forward to hearing the feedback from you soon.

Kind regards,

Hi Mark,

We are close to finalising the tour and we need a couple of further changes made.

On the Common Itinerary.

1.       Remove day 2 and move days up. We will require an extra day in Hoian. This will be a day at our leisure.

So this means new common tour will look like this

Day 1- Hanoi Arrival

Day 2 – Hanoi – Halong Bay

Day 3 – Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue

Day 4 - Hue City Tour

Day 5 – Hue – Danang – Hoian Town

Day 6 – Hoian Ecotour and Cooking class

Day 7 – Hoian

Day 8 – Hoian -Danang – Ho Chi Min City

Day 9 to day 11 remain the same

2.       On the tour for 5 pax can day 2 include sightseeing tour that was supposedly day 2 of the common itinerary.

With regards to the cruise in Halong Bay are we able to Kayak into the caves and is this part of the cruise. If it is extra what is the cost? The same applies to the squid fishing.

Mark, If you feel that we are missing out on something please let us know and how you would work it into the tour.

Your assistance would be appreciated.

Hi K***,

Thank you for your email

Please kindly find in attachment the revised itinerary and quotation for the trip as per your suggestion.

Please be advised that with this change, on the night of 31 Dec, you would stay in Hoian and the hotel here would require a compulsory dinner (while the hotel in Hue doesn’t require), so there is an increase in the cost.

Regarding the cruise on Halong Bay, the cost for kayaking and squid fishing has already been included in the tour cost. However, you won’t kayak through the cave, but on the second day of the cruise, you will be taken by a sampan to visit the cave called ‘Luon Cave”. I have attached the image for you as well.

Should you need further adjustment, feel free to tell me.

I’m looking forward to hearing the feedback from you soon.

Wish you a great day,

Hi Mark,

Thanks very much for the information and we are happy about the compulsory dinner. We have one last change required.

The pax will be arriving in Hanoi  as follows:

1.       5 Pax will be arriving in Hanoi 23/12/2018 at 19h20 (1 x double room and 1 triple room share)

2.       4 Pax will be arriving in Hanoi 24/12/2018 at 12h00 (2 x double room share)

3.       2 Pax will be arriving in Hanoi 27/12/1018 at 16h15 (1 x double room share)

So it would be appreciated if you could include the 4 pax in the day 2(25/12/2018) and day 3(26/12/2018) of itinerary for 5 pax.

Also change day 2(24/12/2018) on 5 pax itinerary to day 1(27/12/2018) of Common Itinerary 9 pax.

7 pax need air tickets from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on 06/01/2019 to arrive in Hanoi no later 14h00. The other 4 pax will leave from Ho Chi Minh at 18h55 on 06/01/2018

Thanks very much for all your assistance.

Hi Mark – it all looks fabulous and we are all getting very excited now!

Quick question please: Do you think we’re spending enough time in Halong Bay? It has been on my bucket list for years and I don’t want to leave with any regrets. What are your thoughts?

Thanks so much for all your help thus far – we really appreciate it

Kind regards

Hi K***,

Thank you for your encouraging feedback

I have to say that the cruise on Halong Bay is always an amazing experience, I have done twice and still want more. Hence, if you are particular interested, I would recommend doing a 3 Days/2 Nights cruise. You will have more time to fully explore the Bay and enjoy relaxing moments while cruising and taking part in exciting activities like swimming, kayaking and laying on the sandy beach.
