In the morning, set off your city tour. Your first stop is the Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. You will then walk along Dong Khoi Street and make a stop at the Peoples’ Committee Building and the Opera House. The next stop is the Reunification Palace to admire its historical work.

Wrap your beautiful exploration with a discovery of the bustling and lively China Town and a visit to Thien Hau Pagoda.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer back to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

This morning, board your elegant Pandaw vessel right in the heart of Saigon. Settle in and soak up the skyline views from the spacious sundeck as the city’s skyscrapers slowly give way to the lush waterways of the Mekong Delta.

After a delicious lunch onboard, meet the friendly crew and enjoy local entertainment on deck while the vessel glides along peaceful channels. The cruise anchor for the night on the serene Vam Co River, ready for tomorrow’s adventures.

NOTE: The Cruise sailing schedule is fixed. Please contact us to get the schedule and availability

Wake early to watch the ship glide through the Cho Gao Canal, a bustling waterway built in 1876 by the French that still serves as a lifeline for transporting goods between the Mekong Delta and the city. Along the banks, life unfolds in a rhythm unchanged for generations.

Arriving in Ben Tre, step into a sampan and drift through peaceful mangrove and bamboo forests to reach the region’s fertile fruit orchards. Keep an eye out for the abundant birdlife before switching to a local rowboat for a slow journey through shaded canals. Visit a charming riverside village known for crafting traditional products before returning to the ship.

Return to the Pandaw vessel and enjoy lunch onboard as the cruise sails deeper into the delta toward Chau Doc. Spend a relaxing afternoon on the sundeck watching the changing scenery of the Mekong.

In the evening, it's your time to indulge in dinner onboard while the cruise makes its way toward Chau Doc, where it will moor for the night.

This morning, disembark the cruise and a short drive takes us to Sam Mountain, home to the sacred Hang Pagoda. Climb the 400 stone steps for sweeping views and insight into local spiritual life.

Back in Chau Doc, explore the floating fish farms by sampan and visit a Cham village, where Vietnamese Muslims have preserved their distinct culture for centuries. Enjoy a lively lion dance performance before returning to the ship.

You then weave through a maze of narrow canals before anchoring at the Vietnam–Cambodia border, where we complete immigration formalities.

Wake to the gentle motion of the ship as we approach Phnom Penh. After breakfast, it’s time to check out from the Pandaw Cruise and bid farewell to the Mekong. A private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the city. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Take this free time to relax after your river journey, explore Phnom Penh’s vibrant streets, or taste Phnom Penh's cuisine on your own.

In the morning, you are offered a great opportunity to explore the local cuisine with breakfast at a local restaurant. Here you can get a real taste of Khmer noodle dishes or other various dishes. After breakfast, head out to Kompong Thom for around 3,5 hours. En-route, make a stop to visit Skuon- sometimes known as spider village which is famous for its fried spiders. After lunch at a local restaurant in Kompong Thom, continue your journey to Siem Reap where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and join a private journey for an unforgettable full-day discovery of Angkor’s most iconic wonders.

Your adventure begins at Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire, surrounded by towering walls and ancient gates. Inside, the mystical Bayon Temple will captivate you with its giant smiling stone faces and intricate bas-reliefs depicting everyday life centuries ago. Continue to Ta Prohm, a temple left in much of its original state, where massive tree roots embrace crumbling stone walls, creating a scene so magical it became famous in Tomb Raider.

Lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense.

In the afternoon, prepare to be awed by Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument and the pride of Cambodia. This UNESCO-recognized masterpiece is celebrated for its perfect harmony of composition, balance, and intricate reliefs. Wander through soaring towers, graceful galleries, and expansive courtyards, where every wall is adorned with carvings depicting epic tales from Hindu mythology. Unlike other temples in the Angkor complex, Angkor Wat has remained an active place of worship, housing centuries-old Buddha statues dating from the 15th century, which is a testament to its enduring spiritual significance and a truly unforgettable finale to your temple journey.

Return to town in the early evening, your heart full and your camera brimming with memories. Meals are on your arrangement. Overnight in Siem Reap.

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a tuk-tuk drive through the beautiful countryside to Meanchey Commune. Make a stop along the way at Bakong temple – one of the oldest temple city near Siem Reap to get some beautiful photos and a brief background on the temple’s history. Continue onto Wat Roka- a large rural pagoda with three distinct buildings. En-route, you also visit some local handicraft makers to observe their unique traditional skills. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through a local market.

When you are at Wat Roka, you have a chance to get to know more the Buddhist culture as well as the various uses of different buildings and structures around the region. Afterward, a relaxing ox-cart ride will take you through beautiful countryside and the nearby village. This traditional form of transportation is a great way to take in the rustic sites of the countryside, traditional buildings and local life at a slower pace. Do not forget to get your camera ready to capture this fascinating moment. You will then get off the ox-cart and take a walk through fields of rural Cambodia.

The field is an authentic farmland of the locals. You may get a special opportunity to see first-hand rural farming techniques from preparation, planting, tending or harvesting depending on the timing and season you visit. You could even get the real experience by joining the farming activities with the locals. Our guide will explain about farming methods as well as introduce various fresh goods produced in the region.

During the walk, there is also a stop at a small rural farm that grows various fresh produce. The place could be a stop for lunch today. Take a seat in the shady farmland and enjoy a great selection of traditional Cambodian dishes and taste some locally-grown fruits. You also enjoy a complimentary fresh coconut refreshment. There is a chance to take a quick break to wander the farm.

In the nearby village of Cheasmorn you can find the JB Foundation. Pay a visit to the site to get to know more the way rural Cambodians are supported by profits from tours. You may see the free English school in operation. If you wish, you could even join and share your own skills.

After the visit, hop on a bike and paddle through the villages and countryside of Meanchey Commune. The rural scenery is just great and you also have another chance to observe the authentic countryside life. There are various stops for you to take photos as you cross bridges and pass through different villages on the narrow dirty roads.

As approaching back in the village of Cheasmorn, end of your bike ride and take a tuk-tuk to Siem Reap.

Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Wow wow wow! It was an absolutely amazing trip! I cannot recommend this company highly enough! It was our first time to Asia and it was incredible! From the first communication I had when we started planning our trip 6 month's prior to going to the end (and even afterwards) it was absolutely brilliant! Everything was so meticulously planned and executed and nothing was too much to ask! From the planning stages to the actual tour every question or query was rapidly answered without hesitation and with such friendliness and helpfulness! A HUGE thank you must go to Trang and Lyn for creating and executing our trip with such professionalism, dedication, friendliness and helpfulness - it was an utter joy dealing with them! I can a 100 % say that it is the best service I have EVER received!!! Vietnam and its people were breathtaking! This was also a very special and personal trip for us and Trang and Lyn made sure that it felt so special! They went above and beyond to make it special and we truly felt cared for and not just a number. Every day trip was excellent with great tour guides and everything was always on time - even the transfers and pick up guides were fantastic! We did not have to worry about a thing and could only enjoy ourselves! The hotels chosen were great and centrally located! I honestly cannot fault anything except that I wish more people and companies could learn the work ethic, responsibility and dedication that Trang and Lyn have shown! The communication with Trang and Lyn keeping us updated and just checking in on us were exceptional! We will truly never forget Trang and Lyn and our fabulous trip of a lifetime to Vietnam! Thank you, thank you, thank you again for making this trip so memorable and truly a trip of a lifetime!!! Will for sure recommend you to all family and friends and definitely use you again if we are fortunate enough to visit Vietnam again!!!

Vietnam's weather differs greatly from region to region.  Depending on where and when you're going to visit, make sure you prepare for the weather before you go.

North: Best time to visit is during spring (from February and April) and autumn (from September to November). The temperatures are more moderate with lighter rainfall

Central: Best time to visit is between January and August when the weather is dry with no heavy rains

South: The best time to visit the region is during the dry season, between December and April when the city experiences warm weather without rain showers.

If you're planning to visit the whole country, it is possible to travel to any part of Vietnam during any season.

A Response from Seni World 06/12/2018

Depending on your place of choice and your interest, the duration could be varied. Normally, for first- time travelers, it will take you about 10- 14 days to discover the must-see attractions throughout Vietnam.

A Response from Seni World 22/12/2018

There are two available methods for passport holders from South Africa to choose to apply for a visa to Vietnam. You can either apply for your visa at the local embassy or obtain a visa on arrival with a visa letter.

You need to have a passport which is effective for at least 6 months beyond arrival date, 2 photos 4x6 and 2 blank pages on it for visa stamp (which costs 25$) and a visa letter. When you book tours with vietnamtour.co.za, we will offer a visa letter for free.

A Response from Seni World 03/11/2018

Our price doesn't consist of international flight tickets. If you have any problem in finding international flight tickets, we could book them for you.
