Welcome to Hanoi. Upon your arrival at Noi Bai airport, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, leave Hanoi and depart for another stunning land of Halong Bay – the UNESCO Heritage Site which is famous for thousands of islands scattering over the Gulf of Tonkin. Visiting the bay, you will be amazed by the natural beauty of different types of scenery.

You will embark on a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on the magical bay. The cruise is also a great chance to savor a special menu of fresh seafood in the endless charm of limestone formations.

Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

Try to wake up early this morning to take in the morning views of the bay at its best. Morning is the great time to admire the breathtaking views of the bay in the glitter of sun rays shining down to the water surface. After the tea break, take the last chance to enjoy the impressive views of the surroundings as the ship cruises through various seascapes. Get your camera ready to take nice photos of the unique land.

Upon returning to the harbor, transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, set off your walking tour around the unique Hoi An town which is famous for its well preserved ancient streets and homes. Make your way to the stunning cobblestone streets to explore the fascinating Chinese-style houses dating back centuries ago. The highlights of your exploration include the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house. 

Do not miss out the chance to savor great local street food – a must try experience while visiting Hoi An. Enjoying this fabulous street food tour, you not only taste some distinct dishes of the region but also realize the insights in food culture and local traditions. During the walking street food tour, you are also offered the chance to stop at some cultural and historical attractions that could be missed. Head back to the hotel for relax. Dinner on your own. In the morning, transfer to Danang Railway Station and take a train to Nha Trang with a soft seat. Once arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Spend the last day to relax at the beautiful sandy beach. In the evening, you will be picked up from your hotel for a transfer to Nha Trang Railway Station where you take a train to Ho Chi Minh City. Meals on your own. Overnight on train (soft berth with 4 berths/cabin).

This early morning, you will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to a local restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to your hotel to leave your luggage and take a short break (Your room is at your disposal from 2 pm). Afterward, set out your city exploration. Your first stop is the Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. You will then walk along Dong Khoi Street and make a stop at the Peoples’ Committee building and the Opera House. The next stop is the Reunification Palace to admire its historical work.

Wrap your beautiful exploration with a visit to the Chinese District of Cho Lon. Head back to your hotel to relax.

This morning, leave Saigon and depart for Ben Tre in Mekong Delta. Once at Ben Tre town, enjoy a motor boat trip along Ben Tre River. En-route, make some stops to visit a brick kiln and observe the making process of bricks. You also visit some families in Cai Son and Thanh Nhon channel to watch their techniques to make sleeping mats.

There is break time at a local house to relax and enjoy fresh fruit with green tea. Your stunning trip will be continued with a motor cart taking you through rice fields and vegetable gardens. After lunch at a local house, transfer back to the main road and transfer back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

You are free to relax until being transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to Phu Quoc. Upon arrival, transfer by shuttle bus to the hotel for check-in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Today is free to enjoy the tranquillity of the sandy beach. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Spend another day relaxing at the beach. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

The morning is at your leisure until being transferred to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, continue onto your departure flight. End of tour. Meals on your own.

° Vietnam Lunar New Year – from 25.Feb.2020 – 03.Mar.2020 – if you travel during this period, there will be surcharged for some services – we will advise you clearly at the time of booking

Cancellation by Customer

Should you need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing sent to us via fax or email. The following cancellation charges will be applied:

  • More than 21 days prior to departure: The total of deposit paid to us (30% of the Tour value).
  • 7- 21 days  prior to departure: 50% on total value of the trip charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
  • Within 1-6 days  prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
  • No-Show: 100% on total charged.

Note: Insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation.  

Cancellation of domestic or international flights:

If the cancellation occurs after a deposit was paid to the Airlines, a cancellation fees, of 25 – 40 % of the airfare for the domestic flight and USD30 – 50/pax for the international flight, is required (according to the policy of the Airlines).

Unused services:

No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members. 

Children Policy

For children, please note:

  • Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (maximum 2 adults with 1 child under 2 years old)
  • Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% price of adults
  • Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% price of adults
  • Children from 12 years old: as adult

My husband and I just arrived back in Cape Town from the best ever Asian holiday, arranged by Vietnam Travel - Ha Nguyen (Sales1@Vietnam Travel). From the time I made contact with Ha, till we left Vietnam, she was inconstantly assisting and advising via WhatsApp and calls. She was 24/7 just a message or a call away. Our tailor-made holiday she arranged and booked with our agreement, suited us like a glove.

From arriving at Hanoi Airport, as mentioned in our correspondence by Ha, we were met by staff who quickly assisted us with the visa on arrival. We met the most dearest and friendly Ha outside to transport us to the hotel. She even booked us in at the hotel while we had a welcome tea.

The pickups were always on time, the tours with English speaking guides were all excellent. Mrs Trang in Hue and Mt Yen Toan in Ho Chi Minh City must be complimented for their knowledge and manner they have engaged with us.

The Ha Long Bay trip on the V Spirit Premier was an experience not to be missed. Hoi An with all the lanterns and soft street music is the most romantic city ever experienced in Asia. Our accommodation was perfect and of a high standard as well as the breakfast at the different hotels, from Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh.

I would highly recommend Vietnam Tour for any traveler from any country to Vietnam.

We landed in Ho Chi Minh and spent three days there. We went to see the tunnels that were excavated in the Vietnam War. Very interesting and thought-provoking. Did a local boat trip on the Mekong Delta. We were introduced to the way of life there and a had a splendid luncheon Prawns, fish, salads, etc. Something for everyone. Then on to De Nang. A very different experience. Wonderful markets with a variety of clothing, curiosities, food, and drink. Splendid Spa treatments. Went to the market umpteen times. Very good local restaurants all within walking distance of our hotel. Last stop was Hanoi. Another exciting experience. A highlight was meeting our agent Nguyĕn Thu Hà who was the most divine soul. She is extremely helpful and NOTHING is too much trouble. All our transport was arranged to and from airports and to venues and trips. The trip on Ha Long Bay on a cruise liner was fabulous. A country full of diversity and kind, happy and helpful people! A must visit. Try something different.

Ha Nguyen from Vietnam tours was beyond excellent in her service in putting together the most amazing 2-week trip. We started in the south in Ho Chi Min and ended in the North. Having a local agent in Vietnam made a huge difference. All arrangements, transfers, and tours went like clockwork and she checked in all the time to ensure that all was Ok. Tipping is not customary in Vietnam but it's highly appreciated. Most the high-end services include a service fee but if you receive a service that exceeded your expectation, then a tip is highly recommended. Normally, you should tip at least 1-3 USD/pax/day for your guide and driver.

Vietnam's weather is tropical climate with high humidity creating a favorable condition for many insects especially mosquitoes. Whenever you head outside especially in mountainous areas, be sure to apply repellent to all areas of exposed skin.

Depending on individual hotels, most of the hotels in Vietnam are equipped with all necessary amenities such as hair dryers, private bathroom, safety box, shampoo, body lotion and more. If you're not sure about the quality of these kinds of stuff, you can bring your own or buy outside.

You can easily find an ATM at any major cities across the country. Though, it's hard to find one in local areas, so make sure you prepare enough money for a journey out of the city.  Do not keep too much money along you to avoid the risk of theft.
