This morning, after breakfast, leave the fascinating land of Hanoi for a scenic drive to the dreamy land of Halong Bay – the UNESCO Heritage Site. The thousands of islands located in a background of the Gulf of Tonkin make the bay a picturesque seascape. Visiting the bay, you will delve into the endless charm of different types of scenery.

You will embark on a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on the magical bay. Staying onboard, you are also offered a great chance to savor a special menu of fresh seafood in the natural beauty of limestone formations. This is surely the best moment you have had in your journey in Vietnam.

Start your new day with an early Tai Chi exercise on the upper deck before having a light breakfast. After lunch on board, take the last chance to enjoy the impressive views of the beautiful limestone as the ship cruises through the numerous limestone.

After a short rest, set off your exploration of the royal city with a visit to the famous Hue Citadel. The complex is located on the north bank of Perfume River and consists of 3 walled enclosures: the Citadel, Kim Thanh Hue, the Yellow Imperial city, Hoang Thanh. In the center of the complex is the Forbidden Purple city – Tu Cam Thanh. With the long-lasting history and the importance of Vietnamese history, the whole complex has been recognized as the World Heritage Site.

At the good time in the morning, you will be picked up for a transfer to Hoian via the scenic Hai Van Pass looking over the central coastline which offers you a unique chance to enjoy the amazing sceneries of Vietnam. We will cycle through peaceful green paddies to reach the local market (Ba Le market). The tour guide will show you where the ingredients of the cooking courses come from and you will have a chance to capture the hustle and bustle trading lives of local people. After that, we head back to the restaurant where the chef and the cooking course are waiting for you.

Upon arrival, you will have a break with a Vietnamese coffee to cool down and relax. Then, let’s join a fun bamboo basket boat ride through small creeks in water coconut fields and the folk game “bit mat dap noi”

Once you get back, we will start to cook a variety of local dishes following the given menu. Our Chef and Tour Guide will instruct and assist you to cook during the class. Afterward, we enjoy our delicious and mindful dishes together.

After lunch, we will take a lazy boat back to Hoi An Ancient Town. Sit back and enjoy the scenery and local life of fishermen along the riverside. Back to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
