Amazing Adventure in North Vietnam

Start your day with a hearty meal in your hotel and relax in the tranquil morning in Hanoi. Afterward, you will start your trip around the city to visit numerous historical and cultural sites. First of all, head to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to witness the final resting place for the heroic leader of the country. Then, continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, an iconic Buddhism symbol of Vietnamese people. Finally, visit Hoa Lo Prison and witness the cruelty of war recreated by the museum.

Lunch in KOTO café and transfer to Sapa by train.

After about 9 hours, you will arrive in Lao Cai and continue travel to Sapa. Begin with a walk on the hills, pass through vast terrace fields and watch the local working on their farms. Upon reaching Sapa town, time to enjoy the walking tour and visit the local market. Here, you can easily find a perfect present for your friend and family at home including handmade textiles. 

Afterward, venture for a few hours to a hill tribe village called Cat Cat to learn more about the life of H’mong people. Overnight at your hotel in Sapa

The morning will be yours to explore with an entirely different culture and customs of the local people. Feel free to talk to villagers to find out more about their life or capture the beauty of the countryside. 

Say goodbye to Cat Cat Village and transfer to Ta Phin Village. This is the home for Red Dao people and contains some of the unique traits to discover. Chat with the locals and contemplate their everyday life or relax in the middle of the mountainous area.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Take a long bus ride for 7 hours to Ha Giang, another wonderful mountainous area in Northern Vietnam. Surrounded by nature, you will be offered with a great number of chances to capture the spectacular landscape in the region. Firstly, a tour guide will take you to a local market presenting a good selection of handmade products and then continue toward the local museum and Cuom Village to contemplate the traditional clothes in Ha Giang. In the evening, spend time at your leisure.

If you still want to explore every bit of Ha Giang province, today will be your good chance. Head to Minh Tao Market and take a short walk to Nam Luong Village. After that, you will hear the special Responsible Tourism project of Mrs. Mai and some stories about the project. Venture to Lung Tam textile village and Vuong Family Palace before arriving in Dong Van.

Time to become a local person as you visit the market and inspect the products like others. The next several hours will be a little tough, but you will encounter magnificent mountain scenes, large valleys and terrace fields. After enjoying the exciting trip, you can either return to your hotel to rest or explore some more to your heart's content.

Bao Lac is a small remote town and will be our main destination for this day. For hundreds of years, the town has become the home for Black Lo Lo ethnic group which has the special traditions as well as their unique bronze drums. Overnight in Bao Lac.

After breakfast, travel to Ba Be Lake for 4 hours for another exploration of Vietnam's nature. Ba Be Lake is considered to be the largest natural lake in the country and the habitat of a hundred species. Situated in Ba Be National Park, you can also venture around to visit the gorgeous waterfalls and view rare fauna and flora up-close. 

In the afternoon, return to your local house and spend time till the evening. The time during this period is yours to spend. 

In the evening, enjoy a hearty meal with the host to ultimately try the local life and customs.

Bid farewell to our friendly host and transfer back to Hanoi. Today, you will be free to explore Hanoi or rest to depart in the next day. Hanoi still has many things to discover, from the interesting Hanoi Military Museum to the unforgettable cuisine. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
