There is always the opportunity to barter with the fishermen for the freshest seafood when you see the boats come in. Hon Tre, Hon Mun, Hon Tam and Monkey Islands are the most popular destinations here.

5. Visit Doc Let beach
Doc Let beach will satisfy all of your needs for a group beach trip. Unlike other beaches, Doc Let beach is not crowded and has kept its unspoilt beauty. The beach stretches for approximately 18 kilometers with chalk-white sand and shallow turquoise water. The giant bay is divided into 3 sections, with most travellers choosing to visit the north and the south sections.
The northern part is where most of the tourist action is, with a cluster of beachfront hotels and cheaper guesthouses. The isolated southern section is backed by a wooded promontory and is the place to get away from it all.
6. Visit Long Beach
If you love Doc Let beach, you will also fancy Bai Dai (Long) beach which is only 20km away from the south of Nha Trang. The Shack, with its Bob Marley Posters is the place to be seen, have a burger, and drink fruit shakes or Jager Bombs. Long Beach is at its finest from October to April. The entrance fee payable to access the beach goes towards the conservation efforts in the area.
7. Visit Long Son Pagoda
Founded in the 19th century, Long Son Pagoda is another attraction for tourists to take a climb onto Nha Trang’s mountain. The steps to the pagoda are rather steep so watch your step while climbing up or down. The entrance and the roof of the pagoda rise strikingly, decorated with mosaic dragons constructed of glass and ceramic tiles. Behind the pagoda, stands the majestic white Buddha statue sitting on a lotus blossom along with six other Buddhist monks who died by self-immolation in 1963.
