Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Check in the hotel and then rest for a while before a tour guide takes you on an exciting street food tour around Hanoi. Feel free to spend your time and immerse in the lovely night of the capital. Overnight at the hotel.

Start your day with a hearty meal in your hotel and relax in the tranquil morning in Hanoi. Afterward, you will start your trip around the city to visit numerous historical and cultural sites. First of all, head to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to witness the final resting place for the heroic leader of the country. Then, continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, an iconic Buddhism symbol of Vietnamese people. Finally, visit Hoa Lo Prison and witness the cruelty of war recreated by the museum.

Lunch in KOTO café and free at your leisure in the afternoon until be transferred to Hanoi station in the evening for an overnight train to Lao Cai - Sapa.

 

After about 9 hours, you will arrive in Lao Cai station. Have a breakfast at a local restaurant near the station and continue travel to Sapa. Begin with a walk on the hills, pass through vast terrace fields and watch the local working on their farms. Upon reaching Sapa town, time to enjoy the walking tour and visit the local market. Here, you can easily find a perfect present for your friend and family at home including handmade textiles. 

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterward, venture for a few hours to a hill tribe village called Cat Cat to learn more about the life of H’mong people. Dinner on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Sapa.

The morning will be yours to explore with an entirely different culture and customs of the local people. Feel free to talk to villagers to find out more about their life or capture the beauty of the countryside. 

Say goodbye to Cat Cat Village and transfer to Ta Phin Village. This is the home for Red Dao people and contains some of unique traits to discover. Chat with the local and contemplate their everyday life or relax in the middle of the mountainous area.

Take a long bus ride for 7 hours to Ha Giang, another wonderful mountainous area in Northern Vietnam. Surrounded by nature, you will be offered with a great number of chances to capture the spectacular landscape in the region. Firstly, a tour guide will take you to a local market presenting a good selection of handmade products and then continue toward the local museum and Cuom Village to contemplate the traditional clothes in Ha Giang. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, spend time at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

If you still want to explore every bit of Ha Giang province, today will be your last chance. Head to Minh Tao Market and take a short walk to Nam Luong Village. After that, you will hear the special Responsible Tourism project of Mrs. Mai and some stories about the project. Venture to Lung Tam textile village and Vuong Family Palace before arriving in Dong Van. 

Time to become a local person as you visit the market and inspect the products like others. The next several hours will be a little tough, but you will encounter magnificent mountain scenes, large valleys and terrace fields. After enjoying the exciting trip, you can either return to your hotel to rest or explore some more to your heart's content.

Bao Loc is a small remote town and will be our main destination for this day. For hundreds of years, the town has become the home for Black Lo Lo ethnic group which has the special traditions as well as their unique bronze drums. Overnight in Bao Loc.

After breakfast, travel to Ba Be Lake for 4 hours for another exploration of Vietnam's nature. Ba Be Lake is considered to be the largest natural lake in the country and the habitat of hundred species. Situated in Ba Be National Park, you can also venture around to visit the gorgeous waterfalls and view rare fauna and flora up-close. 

In the afternoon, return to your local house and spend time till the evening. The time during this period is yours to spend. 

In the evening, enjoy a hearty meal with the host to ultimately try the local life and customs. 

Bid farewell to our friendly host and transfer back to Hanoi. Today, you will be free to explore Hanoi or rest to depart in the next day. Hanoi still has many things to discover, from the interesting Hanoi Military Museum to the unforgettable cuisine. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hanoi.

Your wonderful trip has ended, time to depart from Hanoi. Transfer from your hotel to Noi Bai Airport, end of service.

Our prices are not valid for some special occasions and peak season as below:

° Christmas and New Year (normally, there will be surcharged for Gala Dinner on 24.Dec and 31.Dec Eves – applied for 4 and 5-star hotels)

° Easter Holidays: some 5-star hotels in Hoian will be surcharged for Easter Holidays

° Vietnam Lunar New Year – from 25.Feb.2020 – 03.Mar.2020 – if you travel during this period, there will be surcharged for some services – we will advise you clearly at the time of booking

Cancellation by Customer

Should you need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing sent to us via fax or email. The following cancellation charges will be applied:

  • More than 21 days prior to departure: The total of deposit paid to us (30% of the Tour value).
  • 7- 21 days  prior to departure: 50% on total value of the trip charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
  • Within 1-6 days  prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
  • No-Show: 100% on total charged.

Note: Insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation.  

Cancellation of domestic or international flights:

If the cancellation occurs after a deposit was paid to the Airlines, a cancellation fees, of 25 – 40 % of the airfare for the domestic flight and USD30 – 50/pax for the international flight, is required (according to the policy of the Airlines).

Unused services:

No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.

My husband and I just arrived back in Cape Town from the best ever Asian holiday, arranged by Vietnam Travel - Ha Nguyen (Sales1@Vietnam Travel). From the time I made contact with Ha, till we left Vietnam, she was inconstantly assisting and advising via WhatsApp and calls. She was 24/7 just a message or a call away. Our tailor-made holiday she arranged and booked with our agreement, suited us like a glove.

From arriving at Hanoi Airport, as mentioned in our correspondence by Ha, we were met by staff who quickly assisted us with the visa on arrival. We met the most dearest and friendly Ha outside to transport us to the hotel. She even booked us in at the hotel while we had a welcome tea.

The pickups were always on time, the tours with English speaking guides were all excellent. Mrs Trang in Hue and Mt Yen Toan in Ho Chi Minh City must be complimented for their knowledge and manner they have engaged with us.

The Ha Long Bay trip on the V Spirit Premier was an experience not to be missed. Hoi An with all the lanterns and soft street music is the most romantic city ever experienced in Asia. Our accommodation was perfect and of a high standard as well as the breakfast at the different hotels, from Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh.

I would highly recommend Vietnam Tour for any traveler from any country to Vietnam.

We landed in Ho Chi Minh and spent three days there. We went to see the tunnels that were excavated in the Vietnam War. Very interesting and thought-provoking. Did a local boat trip on the Mekong Delta. We were introduced to the way of life there and a had a splendid luncheon Prawns, fish, salads, etc. Something for everyone. Then on to De Nang. A very different experience. Wonderful markets with a variety of clothing, curiosities, food, and drink. Splendid Spa treatments. Went to the market umpteen times. Very good local restaurants all within walking distance of our hotel. Last stop was Hanoi. Another exciting experience. A highlight was meeting our agent Nguyĕn Thu Hà who was the most divine soul. She is extremely helpful and NOTHING is too much trouble. All our transport was arranged to and from airports and to venues and trips. The trip on Ha Long Bay on a cruise liner was fabulous. A country full of diversity and kind, happy and helpful people! A must visit. Try something different.

Ha Nguyen from Vietnam tours was beyond excellent in her service in putting together the most amazing 2-week trip. We started in the south in Ho Chi Min and ended in the North. Having a local agent in Vietnam made a huge difference. All arrangements, transfers, and tours went like clockwork and she checked in all the time to ensure that all was Ok. Our homestay in Quoc Khanh Bamboo Homestay in Ninh Binh is also highly recommended. Tipping is not customary in Vietnam but it's highly appreciated. Most the high-end services include a service fee but if you receive a service that exceeded your expectation, then a tip is highly recommended. Normally, you should tip at least 1-3 USD/pax/day for your guide and driver.

Vietnam's weather is tropical climate with high humidity creating a favorable condition for many insects especially mosquitoes. Whenever you head outside especially in mountainous areas, be sure to apply repellent to all areas of exposed skin.

Depending on individual hotels, most of the hotels in Vietnam are equipped with all necessary amenities such as hair dryers, private bathroom, safety box, shampoo, body lotion and more. If you're not sure about the quality of these kinds of stuff, you can bring your own or buy outside.

You can easily find an ATM at any major cities across the country. Though, it's hard to find one in local areas, so make sure you prepare enough money for a journey out of the city.  Do not keep too much money along you to avoid the risk of theft.
