Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal at 1.30pm. Afterward, head out to Phou Si Mount to enjoy the fabulous views of the surroundings. Do not miss out the chance to stroll around the colorful night market. Meals on your own. Today, enjoy a boat trip along the mighty Mekong River to visit to mysterious Pak Ou Caves located near the confluence of the Mekong and Ou Rivers. This stunning cave is well known for its hundreds of Buddha images with different size and shapes. Lunch will be served on board on the way back to Luang Prabang.

You are recommended to get up early this morning to witness first- hand the special alms-giving ceremony taking place from the break of dawn. Later, proceed to the impressive Wat Xieng Thong - the most important and most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang. It was built under the reign of the King Setthathirat (1559-1560) with a picturesque scenery surrounding. In the afternoon, transfer without the guide to the airport to take a flight to Hanoi. On arrival Hanoi Airport, meet your local guide and be transferred to your hotel in the city center for check-in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Spend half day in the morning to explore this beautiful city with some of the impressive highlights including Ho Chi Minh complex, the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature, the famous first university in Vietnam and a walking tour around the boisterous streets of Old Quarter. Our local guide will introduce you the 36 ancient streets and tell you some funny story. You will have plenty of chances for shopping and do not forget to ask our guides for some shopping tips in Hanoi.

In this morning, say goodbye to the bustling city and depart for another dreamy land – Halong Bay – a great natural wonder in Asia. It is also one of the most popular trips from Hanoi. Thousands of islands combine together to make the place an exciting site to explore in any visit to Northern Vietnam.

You will embark on a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on the magical bay. The cruise is also a great chance to savor a special menu of fresh seafood in the endless charm of limestone formations. Lunch and dinner are served on the boat. Overnight on boat.

Take the last chance this morning to delve into the tranquility of the stunning island over the bay as the ship cruises back to harbor. Then, transfer to Hanoi airport for a short flight to Danang. Take a short drive to Hoian – the fascinating ancient port town. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy a morning walking tour around the fascinating port town. The leisurely trip offers you a great chance to see the ancient houses built in Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures. You will explore the must see attractions including former merchant’s houses and the hundred- year – old Japanese Bridge. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Meals on your own. Today, take a drive to Danang with a stop at the Cham Museum en-route. The drive will take you through the fantastic views of coastline as passing through the beautiful Hai Van Pass. Later, you will arrive at your hotel in Hue – the ancient capital of Vietnam. Check in your hotel and free at your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

This day, you will be introduced to some of the impressive sites of the city. Take some time to visit Thien Mu Pagoda This is good chance for you to rescue your mind from the daily pressure and breath the fresh air as well as find a peaceful feeling for your spirit. Afterwards, proceed to the Imperial Citadel – the World Heritage Site followed by a cyclo tour around the ancient city. Continue onto some of the extravagant royal tombs before heading back to your hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

This morning, take a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. On arrival, meet your local guide at Ho Chi Minh Airport and then be transferred to your hotel in city center for check in. In the afternoon, set out the half day city tour to visit some beautiful museums and impressive colonial buildings.

After breakfast, leave this vibrant city and depart for Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. After arriving at the pier, embark the boat and travel along the Chat Say River passing through various local working areas. You have time to witness first-hand the local economy and culture through some visits to the brick kilns. You could also taste fresh coconut and see the exciting way to turn coconut into daily products and foods.

Continue your boat trip through the small canal to observe the daily local life. Make a stop at a tranquil village where you enjoy a walk to get a real insight into the life of the delta region. You also visit a mat weaving house where the locals still use hand loom to weave straw mats. 

Your excursion will be continued with a xeloi ride or a bike ride to another village to explore the picturesque views of farms, rice fields and vegetation. There is a stop at a local house where a delicious lunch with regional specialties is served such as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp. After lunch, take a short rest.

In the afternoon, take a sampan boat to relax and float along narrow canals to return to the pier. Transfer back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh for check-in. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

This morning, take a flight to Siem Reap – one of the important centers of Cambodia. The city features colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter, and around the Old Market. On arrival Siem Reap Airport, you will be welcomed by our local guide and then drive to your hotel for check-in. Free at your leisure at the rest of the day. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, start your temple exploration from the south gate of Angkor Thom which is no doubt the expression of highest genius. Continue onto the well known temple of Bayon – the spectacular central temple of the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Wrap your discovery with a visit to the Angkor Wat - a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. Built in the first half of the 12th century, Angkor Wat is the best preserved- an architectural masterpiece. Take your time to enjoy the sunset over the region.

This morning, depending on the water levels, there is a boat trip to the great Tonle Sap Lake for a great view of floating villages or a visit to the temple of Beng Mealea. After a great experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel around noon. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Our prices are not valid for some special occasions and peak season as below:

° Christmas and New Year (normally, there will be surcharged for Gala Dinner on 24.Dec and 31.Dec Eves – applied for 4 and 5-star hotels)

° Easter Holidays: some 5-star hotels in Hoian will be surcharged for Easter Holidays

° Vietnam Lunar New Year – from 25.Feb.2020 – 03.Mar.2020 – if you travel during this period, there will be surcharged for some services – we will advise you clearly at the time of booking

Cancellation by Customer

Should you need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing sent to us via fax or email. The following cancellation charges will be applied:

  • More than 21 days prior to departure: The total of deposit paid to us (30% of the Tour value).
  • 7- 21 days  prior to departure: 50% on total value of the trip charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
  • Within 1-6 days  prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
  • No-Show: 100% on total charged.

Note: Insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation.  

Cancellation of domestic or international flights:

If the cancellation occurs after a deposit was paid to the Airlines, a cancellation fees, of 25 – 40 % of the airfare for the domestic flight and USD30 – 50/pax for the international flight, is required (according to the policy of the Airlines).

Unused services:

No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.

My husband and I just arrived back in Cape Town from the best ever Asian holiday, arranged by Vietnam Travel - Ha Nguyen (Sales1@Vietnam Travel). From the time I made contact with Ha, till we left Vietnam, she was inconstantly assisting and advising via WhatsApp and calls. She was 24/7 just a message or a call away. Our tailor-made holiday she arranged and booked with our agreement, suited us like a glove.

From arriving at Hanoi Airport, as mentioned in our correspondence by Ha, we were met by staff who quickly assisted us with the visa on arrival. We met the most dearest and friendly Ha outside to transport us to the hotel. She even booked us in at the hotel while we had a welcome tea.

The pickups were always on time, the tours with English speaking guides were all excellent. Mrs Trang in Hue and Mt Yen Toan in Ho Chi Minh City must be complimented for their knowledge and manner they have engaged with us.

The Ha Long Bay trip on the V Spirit Premier was an experience not to be missed. Hoi An with all the lanterns and soft street music is the most romantic city ever experienced in Asia. Our accommodation was perfect and of a high standard as well as the breakfast at the different hotels, from Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh.

I would highly recommend Vietnam Tour for any traveler from any country to Vietnam.

We landed in Ho Chi Minh and spent three days there. We went to see the tunnels that were excavated in the Vietnam War. Very interesting and thought-provoking. Did a local boat trip on the Mekong Delta. We were introduced to the way of life there and a had a splendid luncheon Prawns, fish, salads, etc. Something for everyone. Then on to De Nang. A very different experience. Wonderful markets with a variety of clothing, curiosities, food, and drink. Splendid Spa treatments. Went to the market umpteen times. Very good local restaurants all within walking distance of our hotel. Last stop was Hanoi. Another exciting experience. A highlight was meeting our agent Nguyĕn Thu Hà who was the most divine soul. She is extremely helpful and NOTHING is too much trouble. All our transport was arranged to and from airports and to venues and trips. The trip on Ha Long Bay on a cruise liner was fabulous. A country full of diversity and kind, happy and helpful people! A must visit. Try something different.

Ha Nguyen from Vietnam tours was beyond excellent in her service in putting together the most amazing 2-week trip. We started in the south in Ho Chi Min and ended in the North. Having a local agent in Vietnam made a huge difference. All arrangements, transfers, and tours went like clockwork and she checked in all the time to ensure that all was Ok. Our homestay in Quoc Khanh Bamboo Homestay in Ninh Binh is also highly recommended. Tipping is not customary in Vietnam but it's highly appreciated. Most the high-end services include a service fee but if you receive a service that exceeded your expectation, then a tip is highly recommended. Normally, you should tip at least 1-3 USD/pax/day for your guide and driver.

Vietnam's weather is tropical climate with high humidity creating a favorable condition for many insects especially mosquitoes. Whenever you head outside especially in mountainous areas, be sure to apply repellent to all areas of exposed skin.

Depending on individual hotels, most of the hotels in Vietnam are equipped with all necessary amenities such as hair dryers, private bathroom, safety box, shampoo, body lotion and more. If you're not sure about the quality of these kinds of stuff, you can bring your own or buy outside.

You can easily find an ATM at any major cities across the country. Though, it's hard to find one in local areas, so make sure you prepare enough money for a journey out of the city.  Do not keep too much money along you to avoid the risk of theft.
