Welcome to the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh. You will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Take your time to explore the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh on your own. The city embodies for the great blend of the past and the present architecture, of the temples and skyscrapers lined on the streets. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Meals on your own. Today you will explore in depth this fascinating city with its key sites. Your first stop is to the Central Post Office to have a closer look at its stunning architecture designed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel. Take a few steps to the Notre Dame Cathedral – an impressive landmark of the city. It is also a favored place for Vietnamese couples to take their wedding photos. You also visit the War Remnants Museum where you can explore the hidden stories of the country’s history in the dark period of war. There are several collections of military aircraft, weaponry and many photographs displayed in the museum. Your beautiful exploration ends with a trip on speedboat along the Sai Gon River where you can see unchanged lifestyle. Head back to the hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Today you will be transferred without guide to the airport for a flight to Danang. From the airport, continue driving to Hoi An – the ancient town. Enjoy a guided walking tour around the most fabulous attractions of the town including a preserved pagoda, assembly hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Back to your hotel and then free at your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Today you will explore the unique cuisine of the town - a great way to learn more the local culture. You will join a cooking class in which you are offered a hands–on lesson on the ingredients and the way to cook authentic Vietnamese food. After finishing the cooking lesson, take the chance to taste the traditional food of pho and spring rolls.

This morning, drive to Hue via the scenic Hai Van Pass. Here gives you a unique time to contemplate one in many fantastic picturesque sceneries of Vietnam as you look out over the central coastline. Once arrival in Hue, set out your city exploration with the first visit to the majestic tomb of Minh Mang King. Take a walk around the Imperial Citadel – the World Heritage Site and also a great place to learn about country history.

Today, transfer without guide to the airport for a short flight to Hanoi. After a short rest, start to explore the city with a cyclo ride around the bustling streets of the Old Quarter to get a true insight into the way of life. At the end of the day, enjoy your time with a delightful water puppet show.
This evening, you will be transferred to Hanoi station for an overnight train to Sapa – a highlight in the north of Vietnam.
This early morning, you will arrive at Lao Cai station form which you will be taken on the winding mountain roads to Sapa. On arrival, have breaksfast at a local restaurant and then set off your guided walking tour to visit the museum where you can see great collections of old photos, artifacts and ethnic minority costumes. Continue walking through a local market before taking a light trek along the hillside paths.
Back to your hotel at the end of the day and free at your leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Today, climb to the top of Ham Rong Mountain to get the stunning views of Sapa and surroundings and learn about the hidden stories behind its name. Along the way, you may see beautiful flowers in bloom, orchid farms and interesting rock formations. In the evening, transfer back to Lao Cai station for an overnight train to Hanoi.
This early morning, arrive back in Hanoi. After breakfast and a short rest, enjoy a scenic drive to the dreamy land of Halong Bay for round 4 hours. Once arrival, embark on our beautiful junk boat to explore the hidden charm of the bay. During your stay on board, there are various activities for you to take part in such as swimming, kayaking or exploring the caves. This will be a memorable experience in your journey to Vietnam. Lunch and dinner are served on boat. Overnight on boat.
You are recommended to wake up early this morning to take in the tranquil air of the bay and its breathtaking views at its best. You will visit the cave of Surprises –the biggest cave in Halong Bay to explore its magnificent stalagmites and stalactites along the lit paths. After the visit, cruise back to the harbor and transfer to Hanoi. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
This morning, you will explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and learn more about the stories of the great president Ho Chi Minh who had a great influence on the independent campaign of the country. Proceed to the One Pillar Pagoda to appreciate its special structure before moving onto the Temple of Literature – famous for being the first university of Vietnam. The afternoon is free to relax. This morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Welcome on arrival and transfer to your hotel for check in. Afterwards, start your city tour with a visit to the famous Wat Xieng Thong – one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang. After the visit, climb to the top of Mount Phousi to take in the fabulous views over the city at sunset. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Take a great chance this early morning to observe the special ceremony of alms giving taking place on the streets of the city. Then, head out of the town to the magnificent Kuang Si Waterfall. After reaching the waterfall, enjoy your time to take in the tranquility of the nature and the fresh air. If weather permits, you could even immerse into the nature with a swim in the astonishingly cool water given by the shade of the surrounding jungle. Have lunch at a local restaurant (on your own account) before heading back to the town. After that you visit the Royal Palace to admire the religious and cultural artifacts. Today, take a cruise on the Mekong River towards the impressive Pak Ou Caves. This cave is a popular destination which holds the historic and cultural values. Exploring the cave, you will amazed by the thousands of Buddha statues in different sizes and shapes. Along the way, stop off at a riverside weaving village to see how the beautiful textiles are made using traditional weaving techniques. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
