Our guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and then transfer you to the hotel for check in. The balance of the day is at your leisure. After a welcome dinner, enjoy your time with a water puppet show. Overnight at the hotel.
Today, set off your city exploration starting with a visit to the boisterous Old Quarter where you can find a wide range of stalls selling silk clothing, lacquer ware, sophisticated linens, furniture, cooking utensils and so on. Visit some of the numerous art galleries in the city to admire the impressive modern art. During the city tour, you also visit some main cultural sites including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which houses the body of the famous President Ho Chi Minh, the traditional stilt house, the special structure of One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Art Museum and the Temple of Literature – known as the first university of Vietnam. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Today, you will be picked up from your hotel for a drive to the dreamy land of Halong. After around 3,5 hour drive, you will reach Halong Harbor where our junk boat awaits to take you through the bay within 4 hours. Along the way, the ship will stop at one of most beautiful limestone caves in the bay. During your cruise on board, you have great chance to enjoy the fabulous lunch with delicious seafood. Afterwards, take the last chance to enjoy the spectacular landscape as the ship makes its way back to the harbor for a transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

At the good time this morning, you will be transfer to the airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
In the afternoon, set out the sightseeing tour of this vibrant metropolis. The highlights of the tour including the bustling Chinatown, Thien Hau pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. You also visit the War Remnants Museum to learn more the history of the country during war time. Then take a stroll along the wide boulevard lined with big shops to see lovely boutiques, hill tribe crafts and beautiful linens. As the day comes to an end, transfer back to the hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Today, you will depart for Cai Be by car or van via Trung Luong Express Highway. There is a stop along the way in Tan An town to take some nice photos of picturesque rice fields.
Once in Cai Be, you will board a motor boat for a visit to the colorful Cai Be floating market where you can explore the wide selection of tropical fruits and the unique lifestyle of the local people. Then, continue onto a small family business to see the interesting making process of coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn. Take a stroll through small villages and visit the lash orchard and fruit plantation in the beautiful rhyme of traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.
Keep cruising through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Once arriving in Tan Phong Island, join our cooking class. Share your cooking experience and try your hands to prepare some special Vietnamese dishes. Lunch will be served in the heart of the garden with the food you’ve cooked and fresh river food.
In the afternoon, hop on the bike and paddle along the village road lined with beautiful orchards and bonsai garden. Get the chance to interact with the locals on the island to get a glimpse of their way of life.
Afterwards, take a boat ride back to Cai Be where your car/van awaits to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Cu Chi Tunnel is one of the most famous and historical sites in south Vietnam. This fantastic network stretches over 250 km and is the shelter of Vietnamese soldiers during the wars. The system was served as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living areas for Vietnamese fighters throughout the war. Take your time to descend into the tunnels to discover the wonderful tunnels and the harsh conditions of Vietcong guerrillas.
If you wish, you could try to fire off round from war era M16 or Ak47 at the nearby firing range. (Note: This is optional, the fees for the firing range is not included)
In the last day of your trip, there is no activity. You could take the last chance to get some souvenirs at the shops as gifts for your family and friends. You will then be taken to the airport for your departure flight. Meals on your own. End of tour.

This 7 day holiday is a great option for travelers who have very short time to visit Vietnam. The itinerary covers highlighted sites in the North and the South of Vietnam. It is easy to customize the itinerary to be vice versa.
